How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract Nanotubular HfO 2 arrays hold significant promise for advanced optoelectronic and nanoelectronic applications. However, the optical properties of nominally pure hafnia with optically active centers of intrinsic origin are far from being sufficiently investigated. In this work we have conducted research on the wide-range temperature effects in the photoluminescence (PL) kinetics of anion-defective hafnia nanotubes with an amorphous structure, synthesized by the electrochemical oxidation method. The experimental data obtained for the temperature effect on PL decay are quantitatively analyzed by calculating the appropriate energy of the activation barrier. The results obtained provide the deeper understanding of luminescent mechanisms in hafnia nanotubes and insights into the potential of HfO 2 -based nanostructures for advanced thermo-optical applications.
