How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article analyzes the approaches of international organizations to assess the effectiveness of public investment management. The article considers the assessment and ratings of international organizations in Kazakhstan within the framework of public spending and the level of basic infrastructure. The article highlights the fact that a reliable management system for the entire chain of investment projects can increase the efficiency of public investment. It has been determined that the effectiveness of infrastructure investments and public administration in this area can be assessed in various ways. The study allows us to state that international organizations have developed and put into practice a number of new methods based on assessing the life cycle of a project, integrating infrastructure investments into the budget cycle, and forming national indices (ratings) of public investment efficiency. According to the authors, some of these methods are relevant for assessing the effectiveness of public infrastructure investments in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
