How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The world is gradually moving towards high proliferation of photovoltaic (PV) panels that would need ancillary services to maintain grid stability and sustainable grid operation. This paper focuses on modelling the PV system for grid voltage instability mitigation. A model predictive control (MPC) technique is chosen owing to its capabilities of handling non-linearity through flexibility and intuitive understanding. Power model predictive control approach, in this research, is chosen for a low power PV system topology and elaborated for low power rating with voltage instability mitigation strategy. The proposed controller technique for the PV system is modelled in the MATLAB environment. Later, the dynamic performance of the PV system is tested over different grid voltage levels. It was found that the PV system together with the proposed MPC-based approach has high capability in handling grid voltage sags and surges. Further, some modifications are suggested and tested to improve current THD metric.
