How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract The problem of the motion of a spherical disperse inclusion (particle, bubble, etc.) in a viscous incompressible fluid in gravity field is considered with account for nonstationary forces including the “hereditary” force of the Basset type. An exact solution of the problem determining the variation of the disperse inclusion in a fluid with time is derived using the methods of mathematical physics. By way of illustration of the application of the solution obtained the coordinates and velocities of a bubble moving in a fluid are calculated and it is shown that taking account for the “hereditary” Basset force leads to a considerable increase in the characteristic time and distance, when and where a stationary bubble velocity is attained.
