Abstract
We live in an era of globalization. This term is usually understood as the integration of economic, political and cultural systems on a global scale. The profession of translator, like no other, has been subject to changes as a result of the rapid development of globalization, and for the better. As a key country in the process of globalization, it is necessary to be the center of science and industrialization, and to prepare for this state.Translation deals not so much with the language system, but with speech (or, to be more precise, with text, which is the product of speech). So in the translation process, you need to find out for yourself which of the meanings of a multi-valued word fits the context, to see whether the word will acquire a new meaning under the influence of this context and decide how this new meaning (not listed in any dictionary) can be represented in the language of translation. For example not a single dictionary has ever translated the verb “to be” to “лежать” however it is the best way to translate this into the sentence She was in hospital. – Она лежала в больнице. Moreover, it has already been said that each language has its own special way of expressing things, a way that can be completely foreign to other languages. That is why the literal translation of a foreign text can be awkward. To avoid this, one has to resort to some special devices and methods developed by the theory of translation. The article is devoted to the application of various types of changes and transformations in legal and political texts to show how the sociocultural and ideological inclinations of the translator affect the adequacy and acceptability of the translation. The results obtained suggest that when teaching this type of translation, attention should be paid to structural and stylistic changes.
