How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The urgency of the safety of the components of the natural environment of Central Kazakhstanis due, firstly, to the long development of solid minerals and, in connection with this, thehuge expenditure of energy and water resources, and secondly, to the use of obsolete miningtechnologies. The complex of works on the extraction of solid minerals leads to a change in theentire range of environmental conditions in the mining areas and adjacent areas, which is due tothe interconnectedness of all natural components among themselves. The processes leading to theradical reorganization of the lithogenic base include works in the mining sector, the beginningof which was laid in the first half of the twentieth century. A prolonged mechanical interventionin the surface subsurface structures of the earth’s crust led to the development of a number ofdangerous geodynamic processes that directly and indirectly degrade the ecological state of theenvironment of the study area.
