How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The effect of oxidative treatment on colloid-chemical properties of lignosulfonates was studied. Oxidation of lignosulfonates (403–423 K, $P_{O_2 } $ = 0.2–0.8 MPa, 0.5–1 h) is accompanied by a decrease in the content of hydroxy groups and by an increase in the content of carbonyl groups in oxidation products. Under severe oxidation conditions (423–433 K, $P_{O_2 } $ = 0.8 MPa, 3 h), lignosulfonates undergo chemical degradation with the formation of lower carboxy derivatives. The oxidized lignosulfonates exhibit lower performance, compared to the initial samples, in wetting and dispersion of sphalerite and elemental sulfur.
