How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Bioassay-directed fractionation of the methylene chloride extract of the roots of Salvia deserta Shang was performed to identify the constituents with activity against Cryptococcus neformans and Staphylococcus aureus . The methylene chloride extract was fractionated into eleven fractions (A-L) and subjected to antibacterial bioassay evaluation. Fractions showed significant activity against C. neformans and S. aureus. Two diterpenoids from active fractions, namely taxodione and ferruginol, were isolated and purified by chromatographic methods and identified on the basis of spectroscopic data using 1 H-NMR, 13 C-NMR, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Taxodione, ferruginol and others diterpenoids were evaluated against C. neformans and S. aureus and dose-response bioactivity data will be reported.
