How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract This article is devoted to the study of clay raw materials of South Kazakhstan region. In particular, the article presents the chemical and granulometric compositions, as well as the physical and technical properties of clays, for determination of a possible ways of using of fusible and bentonite clays of montmorillonite and colloidal composition for the further production of thermal insulating expanded clays. During the research, the selected clay samples were subjected to modern physicochemical studies, in particular chemical, granulometric, scanning electron microscopic, differential thermal and X-ray phase studies. Based on the results of physicochemical studies, it was established that the clay of the Badam deposit is finely dispersed, the sum of the main compounds SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3 is 80.61-84.29% and is represented by a number of minerals - montmorillonite, sodium feldspar and hydromica.
