How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In the post-socialist era in the economic life of Hungary profound changes started. The most important were privatization and coming of foreign capital. Therefore, strong differentiation started, which had both spatial and social aspects. The capital, Budapest, and the northwestern part of Hungary developed very dynamically, while southern and eastern part of the country stagnated. All of this influenced social differentiation: in 1998 the difference between 10% of the reaches and the 10% of the poorest strata in society was 5,8:1, while in the year 2000 they were 9:1. Unemployment and poverty became widespread. Deep social problems have not been solved by now.
