How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Natural zeolites (clinoptilolite) from the Shankanay deposit in Almaty oblast were used to prepare catalysts for the synthesis of higher α-olefins by paraffin cracking. The modification of zeolite with inorganic and organic heteropoly acids resulted in an enhancement of catalytic activity. The olefin yield on the zeolite modified with heteropoly acids was as high as 36.6% after one run in a flow system at atmospheric pressure and temperatures of 500–525°C. The modification of natural zeolite with HPA led to an increase of 22 to 257 m 2 /g in the total surface area. The increase in catalytic activity after HPA deposition can be attributed to the formation of stable nanostructures with sizes of 1 to 4 nm, resulting in the emergence of stronger Brønsted acid sites. The catalyst works stably in the reaction-regeneration mode.
