How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Demand side management (DSM) is one of the popular strategies to enhance the suitability of the electrical grids, given the fact that the load on the system is ever increasing exponentially. Demand response is a DSM mechanism in which the voluntary participation of the consumers in energy management is rewarded using the momentary or long-term incentives. This paper proposes DR strategies for passive residential household loads in Singapore and prepare for the upcoming liberalisation of the open electricity market in Singapore. In addition, this paper presents the viability of the developed DR strategies in terms of comfort indices such as consumption indices, monetary indices as well as dissatisfaction indices. The performance of the proposed DR strategies is verified using a practical case study data. The simulation results show the effect of the proposed strategies on the load consumption and their role in encouraging the consumers to participate in DR.
