How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The analytical solutions of reflection/refraction problems for bulk acoustic plane waves at the interface between elastic media and piezoelectric media are obtained by matricant method. The analysis is carried out for interface between orthorhombic media of class 2mm (Ba2NaNb5O15) and tetragonal media of class 4mm (BaTiO3). With this aim, a set of joint equations of elastic medium motion and Maxwell's equations for electromagnetic waves is used. The reflection/refraction coefficients at the interface between piezoelectric media are calculated beyond the quasi-static approximation. The results obtained are in agreement with the general Snell's law for any incident bulk elastic wave angles.
