How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract The effect of silver nanoparticles (NPs) on the spectral-luminescence and lasing properties of an ethanolic solution of positive solvatochromic merocyanine dye is studied. Increases in the absorption cross section, intensity, and duration of dye fluorescence are observed upon the addition of NPs to the solution. This leads to a decrease in the merocyanine lasing threshold. As a result, laser generation can be obtained in the presence of silver NPs (СAg = 10−12 mol/L) at a dye concentration (10–4 mol/L) at which it cannot be achieved in the absence of NPs. It is noteworthy that the power density of laser pumping in the former case is lower than in the latter case.
