How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of research about the share of renewable energy in energy production as well as the use of solar energy for electricity generation in the Kazakh energy sector. The study results were compared with analogous data obtained in relation to Latvia and the European Union. The impact of electricity obtained from solar energy as well as energy efficiency impact on CO 2 emissions reduction directly in the food industry is calculated. During the study specific indicators in Latvia and Kazakhstan are compared using the comparison method. On the basis of the results of the study it can be concluded that under the given assumptions CO 2 emissions could be reduced by 83.90 ktCO 2 /year in the food industry in Kazakhstan, but in Latvia – by 5.31 ktCO 2 /year.
