How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Triangular plates are essential in engineering because of their ability to construct complex shapes and play a vital role in many structural designs. In this research, a four-node discrete singular convolution (DSC) method is developed for free vibration analysis of right-angled triangular plates. The straight-sided quadrilateral domain is mapped into a triangular domain in the computational space using a four-node element. Kirchoff plate theory is used for the derivation of the governing equations. By using the geometric transformation, the governing equations and boundary conditions of the right-angled triangular plate are transformed from the physical domain into a triangular computational domain. Numerical examples illustrating the accuracy and convergence of the DSC for right-angled triangular plates are presented. Moreover, several examples are presented to examine the free vibration of the right-angled triangular plates considering different boundary conditions, number of the modes, aspect ratio and grid numbers.
