How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines the process of developing students' environmental competencies through a systematic approach. The importance of applying a systematic approach, which ensures a holistic perception of environmental knowledge and its integration into the educational process, is particularly emphasized. The focus is on developing a model for forming environmental competencies, which includes cognitive, emotional, and behavioral levels. The proposed model illustrates the process of perceiving environmental information, emotional processing, motivation for action, and the reinforcement of environmental skills. To assess the effectiveness of the proposed model, a survey was conducted among students, faculty members, and experts in the field of ecological studies. The results confirm the efficiency and logical structure of the model, as well as its potential for implementation in the educational process. Key elements of the model, such as environmental knowledge, motivation, information perception, and eco-friendly behavior, are highlighted. The authors have developed recommendations and criteria for integrating the model into the educational process, emphasizing its practical orientation, digital and technological support, and the development of motivation for environmentally responsible behavior. The significance of integrating environmental competencies into professional skills and the necessity of long-term support for environmental education are underlined. The implementation of this model contributes to the formation of sustainable environmental habits, aligning with the global goals of sustainable development.
