How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In the context of accelerated technological progress and global challenges related to sustainable development, the industrial sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan faces the task of rethinking approaches to ensuring industrial safety. The relevance of digital transformation in this area is due to the need to increase the level of worker protection, minimize man-made risks and integrate intelligent monitoring systems into the production environment. One of the innovative areas is the introduction of personalized intelligent solutions based on wearable devices that can provide continuous monitoring of the health, location and actions of personnel. This article discusses the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of the digitalization of industrial safety systems using new generation smart helmets. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the results of pilot tests conducted based on two enterprises of the mining sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Kostanay Minerals JSC, Solidcore Resources, and Bakyrchik Mining Enterprise LLP. During the testing, all key functional modules of the smart helmet were tested, including GPS navigation, video broadcasting, biometric sensors and gas analyzers. It was found that the implementation of these technologies can significantly increase the speed of response in emergency situations, strengthen control over compliance with labor protection requirements and ensure the collection of objective information about the production environment in real time. Thus, the results demonstrate that smart helmets can become an integral part of the digital infrastructure of industrial safety. Their use is consistent with the strategic goals of sustainable development, including increasing the social responsibility of business, improving working conditions and reducing industrial injuries. This study lays the foundation for subsequent scaling of the use of intelligent safety systems in various sectors of the Kazakhstan industry.
