How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Dear Editor, We read the published Banzai et al.’s article doi. 10.4103/gmit.gmit_11_22, with great interest. Banzai et al.[1] reported in their article that the ectopic pregnancy implanted in the fallopian tube’s interstitial segment is defined as cornual pregnancy (CP). The published Banzai et al.’s[1] article may be confusing to the readers. “Cornual pregnancy (CP)” defines the pregnancy implanted in the rudimentary horn of a uterus with Müllerian anomaly.[2-5] “Interstitial pregnancy (IP)” defines the pregnancy implanted in the fallopian tube’s interstitial segment.[6-8] Moreover, Banzai et al.,[1]Figure 1 is a figure of ruptured IP and not a figure of ruptured CP because the uterus in Figure 1 does not contain rudimentary horn or Müllerian anomaly.[9,10]Figure 1: A figure of ruptured interstitial pregnancy and not a figure of ruptured cornual pregnancy.[ 1 ] Reproduced from Banzai C et al., Gynecol Minim Invasive Ther 2023, licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/)CONCLUSION IP defines the pregnancy implanted in the fallopian tube’s interstitial segment. CP defines the pregnancy implanted in the rudimentary horn of a uterus with Müllerian anomaly.
