How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This paper deals with an innovative technology for processing stainless steel wire – cryogenic drawing. It consists in the application of cryogenic cooling of the wire immediately after its exit from the wire drawing. The results of laboratory experiments clearly demonstrate that this treatment significantly improves the mechanical characteristics of the wire compared to traditional drawing, which does not expose the material to cryogenic influence. Cryogenic treatment makes the material harder, which allows the wire to be used in harsher environments. And it also affects the microstructure of the metal, creating finer and more evenly distributed grains. Therefore, cryogenic drawing is a promising technology for processing stainless steel wire, allowing to obtain material with excellent mechanical properties. The application of this technology opens up new opportunities for improving the quality and durability of products used in various industries.
