How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Road safety issues have obtained relevance today, both globally and nationally. The fight against accidents in large cities has great economic value, and the matter is of national importance. One of the criteria affecting road safety and increasing the capacity of the road network is population growth and the level of motorization. During the period under review, the city of Almaty witnessed a significant increase both in terms of population growth and the number of registered passenger cars of individual owners. This paper examines the possibility of assessing the state of road safety in Almaty by risk factors. This study analyzed data on 44,559 road traffic accidents with injuries for the period of 2014–2023.
