Abstract
Sleep plays a vital role in overall health, impacting cognitive function and overall well-being. The topic remains pertinent as sleep issues and sleep-related technologies have become increasingly common in recent years. Its relevance persists as technology continues to advance rapidly. Studies related to sleep were studied to highlight common features and functionalities of sleep-tracking applications. As a result of the study, the topic of the usefulness of sleep-tracking apps and their impact was explored and revealed. A study was conducted on 52 people aged 18 to 25 by conducting 2 surveys: before using the application and after. A survey before using the application was conducted to gather information about people's knowledge of the topic and their preferences related to sleep applications. After examining and analyzing the survey results, an application was developed based on that. The participants were asked to use an application for 1 week and then passed a second survey to gather information about their overall experience. Further analysis showed that theapp had a positive impact on the sleep quality of the group of people aged 18 to 20. This also revealed that this age group was more likely to continue using the app since they were satisfied. More neutral and negative results were among people between the ages of 21 and 25, most of whomrefused to use the app in the future. Research proved the hypothesis of sleep quality improvements and answered the main research question by identifying factors and the impactof these applications.
