How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have gained increasing attention in the fields of Internet-of-things (IoT) and building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) applications. PSCs have promising indoor performance for powering indoor IoT devices and potentially low module costs for applications in BIPVs. This study focuses on the performance evaluation of perovskite solar cell modules (PSCMs) integrated with the roof of buildings located in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. The results obtained in this work aim to show the possibility of deploying perovskite PV modules in this region for applications in BIPVs. In this work, the energy harvesting and generation of tilted angles of PSCM installation were investigated for a full cycle of one year. Based on the results, the energy generation from the roof PSCMs increased by 16.1 %, 17.3 %, and 19.5 % when 32-degree, seasonal, and monthly tilt angles were applied for installation. Combining 32-degree and seasonal tilt angles can result in a 20 % energy generation increase.
