How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract The article deals with mathematical modeling of the temperature field during thermal friction processing in the form of a nonlinear differential equation of the temperature field during thermal friction cutting of metals, since the dependence of the thermal conductivity coefficient on temperature is taken into account. Using the DEFORM 3D software and experimental data, it was found that during the processing of steel 30 by friction drilling, the distribution of heat flow in the tool-workpiece contact has a more uniform character and is 1000-1250°C. The convergence of the obtained results with the experimental data is 90-95%, which confirms the applicability of the DEFORM3D program for the study of thermal phenomena in the process of thermal friction drilling of structural steels.
