How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In the context of Industry 4.0, effective asset management has become a crucial aspect, particularly in environments where consistent internet connectivity is lacking. The degradation and inaccessibility of traditional metal nameplates present significant challenges to operational efficiency. This paper introduces a novel approach that integrates Quick Response (QR) codes with Asset Administration Shells (AAS) to enable robust, offline digital nameplates. By embedding structured and compressed asset information directly into QR codes, our solution ensures reliable data retrieval in remote locations. Through a comprehensive evaluation of serialization formats and compression methods, we demonstrate that combining JSON or XML with gzip compression is an effective approach for digital asset management, particularly in the context of industrial cyber-physical systems disconnected from internet, where stringent storage constraints and data integrity are paramount.
