How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Due to the rapid development of digital technologies, this study aims to identify and analyze the potential impact of these advances on tourism development, focusing on marketing and improving visitor experiences. Using a mixed-method approach, the study synthesizes data from a range of sources, including a SWOT analysis of tourism development through digital technologies, as well as an overview of digital platforms in Kazakhstan. The article can be used to explore the role of digital technologies in the development of regional tourism and offers practical information to stakeholders seeking to expand the tourism industry in East Kazakhstan. Key recommendations include the development of an integrated digital platform, advanced social media marketing, and the introduction of virtual and augmented reality for tourism development in East Kazakhstan.
