How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

At the end of XX – beginning of XXI century world community faced with a phenomenal globalnature of the phenomenon – the intensive computerization and informatization, which has receivedby virtue of direct impact on the global political process on trade and economy, on domestic and foreignpolicy, and many other areas. The Internet has become the main tool of the information space; hequickly erased the concept of «time» and «boundary». In this context, «time» and «space» today need new treatment. It is safe to say, a global information space, which has become a reality that has no borders,it is transparent, democratic, but at the same time is not safe for the conduct of international policy. Theforeign policy of any state uses today the most positive information support in its interests. At the sametime, diplomacy faces a new challenge in the form of unfriendly or competitive information, which isaimed at weakening the position of a particular country. Today’s world and foreign policy form newinformation fields that could withstand threats, would have more convincing positions, and would encompasswider segments of consumers of this information. In the conditions of a transparent informationspace, where a mass of information actors operate, any provocation is possible with a view to a possiblethreat of destabilization of the statehood of the countries of Central Asia. The threat of penetration ofIslamic radicalism remains relevant for the region as a whole. The permanent source of the spread ofreligious extremism in Central Asia is Afghanistan, where the main terrorist groups with interests in theregion such as the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan are based. A negative trend in this context is informationthat justifies the ideology of radicalism and terror on the part of the Islamic State, the disseminationof its ideas in the countries of Central Asia.
