How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract Results are presented from analyzing variations in cosmic rays and the solar and geomagnetic activity of May 9‒15, 2024. The authors use data from a network of ground-based neutron monitors and measurements of cosmic rays, made by the CARPET instruments and neutron detectors at the Lebedev Physical Institute’s Dolgoprudny Scientific Station; the Eurasian National University in Astana, Kazakhstan; and the CASLEO astronomical complex in the Argentinian Andes. Characteristics of the Forbush decrease in the cosmic ray fluxes on May 10, 2024, are studied, along with the subsequent rise in cosmic rays on May 11. Results show these effects differed in nature.
