How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract We present new experimental data for the inclusive (p,xp) and (p,x $$\alpha $$ α ) reactions on $$ ^{27}$$ 27 Al target. Double-differential cross sections of (p,xp) at energies 7, 22, 30 MeV and (p,x $$\alpha $$ α ) at energies 22, 30 MeV within the angular range of 30 $$ ^{\circ }$$ ∘ –135 $$ ^{\circ }$$ ∘ have been measured for the first time. The data has been analyzed by using the exciton model, along with multistep direct and multistep compound models to evaluate the adequacy of the theoretical models in explaining the measured data. Our calculations indicate that the exciton model captures the general trends and oscillatory structures of the spectra at higher proton energies; however, the agreement between theory and experiment remains qualitative, reflecting the inherent complexity of pre-equilibrium reaction mechanisms.
