How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The relevance of the study is conditioned by the general recognition of the importance of the cultural sphere for society and the need to adapt management approaches to modern challenges. The purpose of this study was to systematically analyse current trends in the European system of management of cultural institutions and identify key areas for modernisation of public administration and civil service in this area. The methodology of this study is based on the use of such methods of cognition as systemic and comparative analysis, as well as SWOT analysis. The study found that the modern European system of management of cultural institutions is characterised by the growing role of the public, partnerships between sectors, and active integration of technologies. It is determined that the key challenges faced by the European cultural management system are insufficient funding, the need to improve cooperation between different sectors, and the need to develop more effective management strategies. The principal areas of modernisation of public administration and civil service include reorientation to the needs of citizens, development of digital solutions, and ensuring transparency and efficiency of governance. Based on the results obtained, concrete recommendations were developed for the modernisation of the European system of management of cultural institutions, which will contribute to more efficient and sustainable development of the cultural sphere. The significance of the findings of this paper lies in the emphasis on the relevance of the study and its importance for the further development of cultural governance in Europe and beyond. The results also serve as a basis for further research in this area and the development of practical recommendations for improving public administration and civil service in the cultural sector
