How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This paper presented some aspects associated with developing a system for controlling rock massif displacements that lead to the collapse of the pit walls. The control system uses point optic fiber (POF) sensors. Fiber optic sensors are based on Single Mode optical fibers. A laboratory sample of a POF sensor based on a two-arm Mach-Zehnder interferometer using a Single Mode OF to control displacements has been developed. A simulation bench of the laboratory sample of the OF sensor showed high measurement accuracy, linearity and can control stability of the pit walls after the design has been improved. The experimental data obtained have been processed using the Wolfram Alpha computer program. A hardware-software control complex with a wide range of elements that allows adjusting the sensitivity and has elements of machine learning has also been developed. The development is capable of controlling the mechanical effect of altering the level of additional loss by changing the intensity of the light wave falling on the surface of the photodetector, and the intelligent processing of the image of the spot allows tracking changes in the intensity of individual pixels.
