Abstract
An analytical review of the problems and advantages of using low-base cements is given. In particular, the issues of reducing the energy and specific costs of raw materials in the production of low-base cements, replacing mineral raw materials with man-made raw materials in the production cycle, as well as environmental protection in the production of low-base cements by reducing the emission of carbon and nitrogen oxides while saving energy costs are considered. Based on the results of the analytical review, conclusions are drawn.
