How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract In the present work, the effect of the detonation-spraying mode on the tribological properties of Al2O3 coating was studied. It was found that a decrease in the delay time between shots is leading to an increase in the hardness and elastic module of Al2O3 coatings. The obtained values of the coefficient of friction showed that a decrease in the delay time between shots leads to a slight reduction in the coefficient of friction. It is determined that reducing the delay time between shots to 0.25 seconds leads to an increase in the resistance of coatings to abrasive wear. It was found that the main reason for the increase in hardness and wear resistance with a decrease in the delay time between shots to 0.25 s is associated with an increase in the volume fraction of the α-Al2O3 phase. It was found that increase in the volume fraction of the α-Al2O3 phase is caused by the secondary recrystallization γ → α, which occurs due to the heating of particles during coating formation, i.e. due to increase in temperature above 1100 °C in single spots of the coating when they are put each other.
