How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

After a catastrophic decline in the water level at the end of the 20th century, the formation of a new delta of the \nriver Syrdarya has begun. The modern delta of the river is located within the Kazalinsk and Aral regions in \nKyzylorda oblast. This paper gives an assessment of the hydroecological state of the river’s delta. The \nhydrological and ecological characteristics of the Syrdarya delta were evaluated using the data from the \nKarateren and Kazalinsk gauging stations. A number of hydroecological indicators are given, such as: water \nlevel, annual flow, delta area, mineralization, content of suspended substances, copper and biochemical oxygen \nconsumption (BOС5) in the river. All indicators were compared to the maximum permissible concentration \n(MPC).
