How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The physical and mechanical properties of polyurea based polymeric toluene diisocyanate (15.5%) and polyoxypropylenediamine (POPA) as resin blend were investigated. Polyurea films were synthesized with constant molar ratio of resin blend and isocyanates. POPA acts in the resulting polyurea films through a crosslinking between backbone of the polymers. The results showed that the physical and mechanical properties of polyurea films based on toluene diisoyanate (TDI) were high and adhesion of the polyurea films to metal surface was very week. To improve the polyurea adhesions, new series of polyurea hybrid were prepared by mixing prepolymer polyurethane (PU) and POPA with constant molar ratio. Prepolymer polyurethane (PU) were prepared by polyaddition reaction using TDI as isocyanate with ratio 15.5% and polyoxypropylene glycol (PPG) as polyol. The effect of polyol on physico-mechanical properties of polyurea films was studied. Physico-mechanical properties of polyurea films were significantly affected by polyols. It was observed that on increasing the soft segments (PPG) in the PU, physico-mechanical properties of polyurea films improve significantly and become flexible with high adhesion.
