How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The conditions of copper sulfide formation as a result of the interaction between sodium thiosulfate and oxidized compounds of copper are studied. The effects of precipitator consumption, acidity, and temperature on this process are studied. It is found that copper can be quantitatively extracted from solutions by sodium thiosulfate in the form of covelline and chalcosine. The kinetics of the interaction between sodium thiosulfate and oxidized copper minerals in the temperature range from 40 to 100°C with 1.5 mol of Na 2 S 2 O 3 per 1 mol of the metal extracted are studied. Equations describing typical kinetic curves of precipitation are selected. The reaction rate constants are determined.
