How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

A global analysis of experimental data on the elastic and inelastic scattering of alpha particles by 90,94Zr nuclei and on the total cross sections for their interaction with these nuclei is performed. The deformation lengths and the neutron-to-proton multipole-matrix-element ratios for the 2 1 + and 3 1 − states of the 90,92,94,96Zr nuclei are obtained for various projectile species, and a comparative analysis of these quantities is performed. With the aim of revealing the origin of the phase shifts found in the present study, experimental data on the inelastic scattering of 35.4-, 40.0-, 50.1-, and 65.0-MeV alpha particles on 90,94Zr nuclei are analyzed on the basis of a unified approach.
