How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Theories with a pole in the kinetic term have been used to great effect in studying inflation, owing to their quantum stability and attractor properties. We explore the use of such pole kinetic terms in dark energy theories, finding an interesting link between thawing and freezing models, and the possibility of enhanced plateaus with ``superattractorlike'' behavior. We assess the observational viability of pole dark energy, showing that simple models can give dark energy equation-of-state evolution with $w(z)<\ensuremath{-}0.9$ even for potentials that could not normally achieve this easily. The kinetic term pole also offers an interesting perspective with respect to the swampland criteria for such observationally viable dark energy models.
