How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In this paper, the research is devoted to sintering of ferruginous sand – waste from alumina production. The research allowed us to determine the optimal process parameters for obtaining iron ore and fluxed agglomerate. When studying the effect of flux additives in the composition of the agglomeration batch, we considered them from the position of multicomponent oxide systems based on the phase diagrams of the FeO-CaO-Fe2O3-Al2O3, FeO-MgO-Fe2O3-Al2O3 and FeO-MgO-CaO-Fe2O3 systems. The thermal transformations in the ferruginous sands under study and the agglomerate obtained from them were studied. The obtained derivatograms indicate the complexity of the mineral composition of the iron ore materials under study. According to the X-ray phase analysis, wustite FeO and magnetite Fe3O4 are recorded during agglomeration. Also, X-ray phase analysis reveals the appearance of hercynite FeAl2O4 and provides recommendations for avoiding undesirable factors of the formation of low-melting phases from the position of the oxide system FeO-MgO-CaO-Fe2O3. The results of the study are confirmed by the presented X-ray phase and petrographic studies.
