How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract— Niobium and molybdenum dicadmides (NbCd2 and MoCd2) have been synthesized using ion-plasma sputtering and codeposition of ultrafine niobium and cadmium or molybdenum and cadmium particles on unheated substrates at a Cd concentration near 66 at % in the film, without initiating reactions leading to the formation of these compounds. Their composition, structure, and unit-cell parameters have been determined by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The synthesized niobium and molybdenum dicadmides can be described by tetragonal unit cells with parameters a = 0.84357 nm and c = 0.54514 nm for the former and a = 0.78231 nm and c = 0.77039 nm for the latter, in which pairs of cadmium atoms reside on lateral faces.
