How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Sand pack flooding tests were conducted in order to study the displacement of East Moldabek (Kazakhstan) viscous oil (140cp) by quenched polyampholytes from high permeability (16 Darcy) porous media. The injection of the polyampholytes resulted in only 0.3–1% incremental oil recovery. However, taking into account high permeability and oil viscosity, as well as homogeneity of the sand we can expect better performance in layered heterogeneous models with lower oil viscosity. Another test has been done by using 30% hydrolyzed 17 mln Da polyacrylamide dissolved in 15 g/L NaCl. The incremental oil recovery was equal to 5%. Future research will aim comparison between polyacrylamide and polyampholytes at higher salinity, temperature and reservoir heterogeneity conditions.
