How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article summarizes the learning characteristics of the digital generation of students, the emerging field of digital pedagogy and didactics. Digital didactics is based on the concepts of Connectivism and Heutagogy, Actor-network theory, Rhizomatic education approaches, etc. Researchers highlight the following characteristics of the digital generation: clip thinking, shifting attention, multitasking, heavy short-term memory load, digital youth slang, need for praise, and minimal planning horizon, etc. A survey of 142 students from four universities in Kazakhstan was conducted on the characteristics of the digital generation of students. It was found that 90.8% of the sample of students identify themselves as belonging to the digital generation; when learning, of the three sources of information, students prefer to choose first: 50.7% - electronic textbook, 38.7% - video materials, 37.3% - paper textbook. At the same time, only a third of the students gave a detailed answer as to what clip thinking is, some students found it difficult to answer or were not aware of the phenomenon.
