How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

In developed countries, this type of tourism has become a highly profitable sector of the tourism industry. According to the WTO, rural tourism is one of the five main strategic directions of tourism development in the world until 2020. The development of rural tourism in many countries is considered to be the key to sustainable development of rural areas. This article discusses the huge potential of rural tourism in Kazakhstan, and each of them is analyzed separately. Thus, the potential of rural tourism is identified and described as agricultural, climatic, organizational and distribution, socio-geographical, cultural and historical, material and technical, institutional and economic (on the part of state and local Executive bodies). In particular, examples from foreign practices are given. Recommendations on the factors hindering the development of rural tourism in Kazakhstan are given.
