How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract Since 1912 benzofuroxans have been believed to exhibit a molecular structure characterised by the presence of two fused rings, i. e. a benzene ring and a pentatomic heterocycle containing a N−O−N fragment wherein one of the two N atoms is involved in a further N O bond, namely benzo[1,2‐c]1,2,5‐oxadiazole N‐oxide. In this work, quantum chemical calculation results along with vibrational spectroscopic data raise fundamental questions about the electronic structure and the molecular topology of some 4,6‐dinitro‐derivatives of this class of compounds. An alternative interpretation is offered corroborated by the experimental vibrational and electronic spectra.
