How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract This paper presents the design and implementation of an analog signal processing front-end board for a multichannel analyzer (MCA) based on the STM32 microcontroller. The board utilizes commercially available electronic components and is capable of processing both fast signals from various scintillation materials and longer signals from pre-amplifiers used with silicon detectors. Energy spectra were recorded for an alpha source (Ra-226) using a silicon detector and a CsI(Tl) scintillator, as well as for a gamma source (Cs-137) using a NaI(Tl) scintillator coupled with a photomultiplier tube. The measurement results demonstrate that the developed analog front-end, combined with the STM32-based MCA, is suitable for alpha and gamma spectrometry applications.
