How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This paper presents a four element dual-band multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna design operating at 28/38 GHz for millimeter wave wearable applications. The antenna incorporates a metasurface-inspired structure on its upper surface and utilizes a coplanar waveguide (CPW) feeding method. The design achieved a high level of isolation exceeding -20 dB between the inter-elements at both frequencies, with minimal impact from bending on the performance. A gain of 5.52 dBi with dual beam characteristics was attained. The MIMO antenna exhibited favorable envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) values below 0.01 and diversity gain (DG) exceeding 9.9 dB at both resonance frequencies. This approach of integrating metasurface with CPW fed in the design of flexible MIMO antennas demonstrates potential applications in wearable devices.
