How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Sustainable urban development assessment: Large cities in KazakhstanMeasuring the comparative level of urban sustainability is an important part of creating a sustainable urban future. This article assesses the sustainable development of the seventeen largest cities in Kazakhstan for 2007-2019 using a geodatabase on a GIS platform. The results show that none of the cities have reached a level of sustainability greater than or equal to a sustainable urban development index (SUDI) of 0.750, and no cities have an unsustainable level of development with a SUDI below 0.300.Therefore, all seventeen cities are classified as moderately sustainable. In future studies, the authors will look for ways to further improve the system for assessing the sustainability of cities in Kazakhstan.
