How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract Today we are facing environmental challenges that include climate change and energy security, environmental degradation, water and food security, overexploitation of all natural resources and other pressing environmental issues. The participation of D.Serikbayev EKTU in the Green Metric world ranking has become the basis for the strategic development of the university to maintain the sustainability and environmental of the campus. Systematic work to improve the indicators of the Green Metric questionnaire provided not only a worthy position of EKTU (123 place) among almost 1000 universities in the world, but also allowed to increase the share of buildings where “green” and “smart” campus technologies are implemented, thereby reducing energy and resource consumption. The results achieved in the field of energy and climate change show that purposeful work to improve the indicators in the ratings can lead to the desired results in terms of sustainability and environmental friendliness.
