How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article examines the importance of studying the humanities perspective on education in the process of personality development in the educational environment. It analyzes the key functions of a humanities educa-tion and its impact on the development of students' moral qualities, critical thinking, and social responsibility. Particular attention is paid to the role of the humanities in the context of digitalization and globalization of modern society. The authors offer a traditional interpretation of education as one of the most important mech-anisms for the reproduction of culture, the transmission of knowledge, and the development of personality. However, they emphasize that in the modern world, its meaning is becoming the subject of increasingly heat-ed philosophical debate. The authors attribute the challenges to education to the development of digital tech-nologies, artificial intelligence, labor automation, and the global economy, which has led to the educational system being increasingly evaluated through criteria of efficiency, competitiveness, and the demand for grad-uates in the labor market. As a result, the humanities dimension of education often finds itself on the periph-ery of public attention. However, at the same time, according to the authors, it is the humanitarian perspective that allows us to see education not only as a means of acquiring professional competencies, but also as a pro-cess of developing a person as an individual, a subject of culture, and a bearer of moral and civic responsibil-ity. The authors emphasize that the humanities perspective on education represents a particular way of under-standing the educational process, in which the focus is not on professional training as such, but on personal development, the formation of an individual’s value system, and the capacity for meaningful existence. Keywords: education, humanitarization of education, personality, values, constructive thinking, critical think-ing, culture, upbringing, communicative culture, humanistic competence, creative thinking.
