How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This monograph examines the physical-mechanical and storage properties of the coal-rock mass in the Karaganda Basin, with the aim of enhancing the safety and efficiency of coal extraction. It substantiates the role of the surface layer and nanostructures of coal in the development of gas content and the propensity for sudden outbursts in coal seams. Furthermore, it presents models of gas-dynamic processes and methods for assessing the risk of sudden coal and gas outbursts. The work is intended for students enrolled in the following educational programs: 6B07201 – Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits, 7M07202 – Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits, and 8D07201 – Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits. It is also designed for scientific, engineering, and technical personnel working within mining and geological organizations and enterprises.
